Friendly Neighbor Software (friendlyneighbor.dev) is operated by Andrew Lancaster as a solo freelance studio. This policy explains what information is collected through the public website and how it is used.

Information you provide

When you use the intake form at /start, I may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, company name, and the details you share about your project or situation (including optional website URL and description).

Do not submit passwords, private customer data, payment card numbers, or other sensitive information through the form. Use a secure channel if access credentials are needed later.

How it is used

  • To review your request and respond with a practical next step
  • To store intake records in my internal operations workspace (Notion)
  • To send you a confirmation email and an internal alert (Resend)
  • To follow up about potential work, if you have asked for help

I do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

The site uses trusted processors to operate:

  • Vercel — website hosting
  • Notion — internal intake and project records
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Plausible — privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies; aggregated page views)

Analytics

Plausible Analytics is used to understand general traffic patterns on friendlyneighbor.dev. It does not use cookies for tracking across sites and does not collect personally identifiable information from casual page visits.

Retention

Intake and client records are kept as long as needed to respond, deliver services, or meet reasonable business and legal obligations. You may ask to update or delete information you submitted if it is no longer needed.
